Sold in pairs, these strong, flexible fiberglass Mooring Whips will not obstruct your waterfront view. They act like springs, allowing the boat to shift with water currents and waves while keeping the craft securely moored. These black, 12-foot-long whips are designed for use on boats up to 23-feet long, with a 4,000-pound maximum load limit. Note that weight is a more critical determining factor than boat length. You are encouraged to not downsize whips, but instead to select the proper size for your boat. The solid fiberglass rods have conventional tips, and the durable, cast-aluminum base of each whip has a molded-in cleat, ring, and thumb screw to secure the whip in position. Each base has a 3/8-In. thick mounting footprint. These Mooring Whips come with two 5/8-In. diameter x 24-foot-long whip lines (white), and one 5/8-In. diameter x 55-foot-long spring line (white).
